My name is Kelly Martinez. I live with my wife and two kids in a small Colorado town and am currently employed as a Programmer Analyst for municipal government. This role is all-encompassing and on any given day I could be working with SQL Server to writing a Java application to administering and developing for SharePoint.
I’ve been in the I.T. field for over 10 years and my roots are in the Open Source area. Over my career I have fulfilled such roles as Systems Admin on Windows NT and Exchange, Database Admin with Informix, and both contract and full-time employment as a web developer in the PHP/.NET/Ruby realms.
Over the past 5 years I have been working primarily in the .NET sphere and also hold a MCITP certification in SQL Server.
My current focus is ASP.NET MVC, Test Driven Development, SQL Server, and learning Ruby.
I have a range of interests in programming, hardware, and technology in general that I like to post about in a rambling fashion. You can view my full resume here.
